The fully-funded Malaysian Government MTCP Scholarship 2025 covers many expenses for an international student during the scholarship period to pursue a master's degree, which include:

Required documents

Before applying for the Malaysian Government Scholarship 2025, you must review all the required documents and papers for registration through the scholarship's official website, which are as follows:

  1. Prepare a copy of the application form.
  2. A clear copy of the student's passport, authenticated and certified by the Passport Authority, provided it is valid for at least six months.
  3. A certified copy of the student's complete academic record.
  4. Completion of all previously completed courses for the student.
  5. A certified copy of the student's academic qualification.
  6. Letter of recommendation from school or university.
  7. Letter of recommendation or 2 letters from the candidate’s previous or current employers (if applicable).

Malaysian Government MTCP Scholarship Admission Requirements

1- The candidate must not be more than 45 years old at the time of application.

2- You must have obtained high grades with honors, with a cumulative GPA of no less than 3.3 CGPA in the undergraduate stage.

3- Certificate of English language proficiency as follows:

  • Submit a scanned copy of the original certificate proving the candidate's proficiency in the English language, such as an IELTS certificate (with an overall score of at least 6.0); a paper-based TOEFL test with a score of 500, or a TOEFL iBT score of 70.
  • Candidates may also submit documents for degrees obtained where the language of instruction was English.

4- The candidate shall pay the costs of the medical examination required for admission×, which shall be approved by a qualified specialist physician, provided that the candidate meets the proper and possible health standards.

5- Full-time study for a master’s degree is required.

6- Applications may also be accepted from candidates who have received offer letters for Master’s studies from higher education institutions in Malaysia, or those candidates who have registered for a period not exceeding the first semester.
