About Anadolu University, Turkey

Founded in 1958, the Eskişehir Academy of Economics and Business formed the foundation of Anadolu University. The academy was replaced by Anadolu University in 1982, which has earned a well-deserved place as a modern, dynamic, and innovative institution among the top universities not only in Turkey but also in the world. Located in the center of Eskişehir, known as the City of Science, Culture, and Youth, Anadolu University's campus includes 12 faculties (undergraduate level)—three of which offer distance learning; three applied schools—one of which is music and drama; two vocational schools; six graduate schools—four of which offer graduate programs (master's and doctoral); and 30 research centers.

Application requirements for foreigners at Anadolu University

  1. ANADOLUYÖS Placement Exam Result,
  2. ANADOLUYÖS application form,
  3. Passport or residence permit in Türkiye
  4. Proof of multiple citizenship (for those who hold dual citizenship and have only one Turkish citizenship)
  5. Original high school certificate and its Turkish translation,
  6. High school equivalency document
  7. A receipt indicating that the student has deposited the university fees (except for candidate students whose contribution will be financed from the Prime Ministry budget or Turkish scholarships),
  8. 12 photos (4.5 x 6 cm),
  9. In order for eligible applicants to enroll to start programs where the language of instruction is Turkish, they must either obtain a minimum score of 70 on the ANADOLUYÖS Turkish exam or they must obtain a valid Turkish proficiency score i.e. level (B2) of the “Anadolu University Proficiency Examination” conducted by Anadolu TÖMER Or the “Turkish Proficiency Exam (TYS)” conducted by Yunus Emre Institute.
  10. Students who have applied to departments/programs taught in a language other than Turkish (i.e. English) are not required to submit any documents regarding their Turkish proficiency.
