Which universities offer scholarships?
The Brunei Darussalam Government Scholarships are open to international students wishing to pursue postgraduate diploma, bachelor's and master's programmes at five designated Brunei universities:
- University of Brunei Darussalam (UBD),
- Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University (UNISSA)
- University of Technology Brunei (UTB),
- Seri Begawan University College of Religious Education (KUPU SB)
- Brunei Polytechnic (PB ).

Eligibility criteria toBrunei Darussalam Government Scholarship
- To be a citizen of a country other than Brunei Darussalam.
- To hold a valid passport and entry visa to Brunei.
- Not exceeding 25 years of age for Bachelor's and Diploma programmes, and 35 years of age for Postgraduate Master's degree programmes, on the first day of July of the year in which the course/programme begins.
- Be proficient in English with a GCE 'O' Level score or a 'C' in IGCSE English (as a Second Language) or an IELTS score of 6.0 or a minimum TOEFL score of 550.
- Have a strong academic record that demonstrates exceptional academic potential.
- Proof of English language proficiency.
- To be committed to contributing to the development of Brunei after completing the scholarship program if he/she wishes to continue living there.
